Hi Ann

I have over the years grown many of the Encliandra types and been fortunate enough to be runner up to Best in Show in a National Show with one of these (a very rare occurence). I always keep a few in my collection, they are like little jewels, so easy to manage and always come through no matter what.

Here in the UK we have some really nice varieties available and some very skilful hybridisers of these wonderful plants. Our National Collection is held by an acquaintance of mine who I have known for many years Trevor Strickland and I have included a link which I am sure will be of interest to you.

Hi Ann,
I assume you have it in a pot and indoors at the moment, if not tell me.

Place in a cool room and in a well lit position but out of direct sunlight, keep moist but not soaking wet. As soon as temperatures allow place outside in a shady spot. It is quite normal for them to have a 'little-rest' before flowering again. Kath :)

Thank you all for the suggestions. I did move them out to the greenhouse and they are doing fine. I can't wait to plant my hardy ones in the ground.

So glad they are doing fine Ann, yes greenhouse is much better than indoors, make sure you open all doors and vents if the sun shines to give plenty of air circulation, it's surprising how quickly the temperature rises with a bit of sun at this time of year - Kath:)
