As they are growing so vigourously in the barrel it's not too early to prune Bubbasnana, the only disadvantage is that it will delay flowering by 6 weeks. If you wish, prune them back a third to half.
Next Spring when they are just starting to grow again, remove them from the barrel and trim the roots back by a third and then you can cut off this years old stem growth and replace the soil. During the growing season feed them a balanced feed NPK 20-20-20.

The ones growing in the garden can also be pruned back next Spring if you wish, when you see new growth starting to shoot.
