Hi Rommy Im not sure which Fuschias are hardy where you live.If you had the name of the fuschia it wouild be easier to find out tho. some are "very hardy" they can survive tempreatuers below freezing for a few days and still sprout back from the roots if mulched. some are partialy hardy, they may or may not make it through a freeze, but will do fine down to the high 30's. then some are just plain tender, and dont want to go near freezing ever. you can set the pot into the ground with the plant in it, if you just like the look, till you find out, then yank it in to over winter in your garage or some place, if it turns out to be a tender type. most are easily identified, by name at the many cool fuschia sites on the web, but i allways take the info on the site of my area fuschia society most seriously, because they know my area, and then if thats not real clear, I double check it on a couple other sites. hope this helps some, but check the tag for a name, and let us know, some one will have the scoop then. Thanks for the info zzepherdog! I will check out the Carolina forum and see if I can find anything. I have searched the web and found only one site with pictures;so I can i.d. it. I don't have the tag :(. The site I found is not loading correctly; therefore I can't clik on the name to see an image of the flower. I may have to try your suggestion and just stick it in a hole! lol..it's worth the try to find out~ Thanks again!

Thanks for the post! Now, the trick is finding out what fuschia I have..lol! I am going to try it in the ground. Found one person from my same area that grows them. Don't know what type but she has a few she has put in the ground and they have done good here. It's worth a try! Thanks!
