As far as I know Fuchsias can handle filtered sun at the most. They are very sensitive and would probably fry in full sun. I would move them to a partly sunny place with some light morning sun, no afternoon, and good drainage.

OUT of the sun quick!!! Although this post is a little old it may be too late. I have never known fuchsia to do well in full sun, even part sun is harsh. Mine all do well with early morning sun if it is cool and then shade after that.

Bear in mind that mine are at their best from late August to first frost in a leafy, gloomy British garden. That tells you what conditions they like. Cool, damp and definitely not very sunny!
