Have you also cut the plants back? If not reduce by at least half. Yes remove the leaves, because of the heat and low light you will get very long straggely growth. Have you read the link below? Please come back if you have more questions - Kath :-)

thanks for quick reply:-) I cut them in one third, watering only to assure soil wet - not too much.
I think they will stop their growing as soon as the weather becomes colder (within one month certainly).
I will certainly look into the link you attached and if I have anything unclear, will ask you!
I love these flowers althought they can be attacked by other pests (especially whitefly), but anyway I like them more than pelargonias which flowers longer time than fuchsias.... I cannot explain my interest in it!!!!
