Any chance you could snap a picture, even a cellphone one?

Based on yellow blossoms, it could be a "true jasmine," jasminum humile (bright yellow, 5 petals, star-shaped flowers), or an asian jasmine, trachelospermum jasminoides (pale yellow, petals overlapping like a propeller), or a Carolina jasmine, gelsemium sempervirens (light green lance-shaped leaves, fairly large bright yellow blooms)

Google 'em and see if any match!

i have deduced that it must either be Jasminum nudiflorum or jasminum Humile. I have also noticed that each leaf is in pairs of threes and the flowers appears randomly and single on the branches. What's a good way to tell the difference between the two? at this point im assuming the more obtainable and inexpensive one of the two would be the correct one.

Three leaflets would rule out humile. That there are leaves present with the flowers may rule out nudiflorum, which blooms sans leaves. Perhaps it's mesnyi, or primrose jasmine, which is evergreen, has trifoliate leaves like nudiflorum, and is also scentless.
