stop-sit-wow

I thought I knew my garden well, it's "not so big" and I walk it several (many) times a day as well as look out windows.

Today because of the glorious weather following the big storm I went to the back steps and just sat in the sun instead of in the screened lanai. My oh my.

I thought certain butterflies were rare for my garden: peacocks and red admirals. Not so much, I just haven't been taking the time to see them, they are here and right at home.

And then...a green hummingbird whizzed past. We've been here 3 years and never seen any anywhere. I have a few plants he/she might be interested in so here's hoping it returns to linger. I don't know if I have the discipline to keep a sugar feeder fresh and don't want to start something and not keep it up.

What else is visiting that I haven't taken the time to see?
