Leaf color changes

I have several tri-color pelargoniums that lose their original color patterns in some (not all) of the leaves. They typically lose the red or orange and become mostly green and white. The worst offender is Mrs. Cox, which now has a stem of pure white leaves -- quite weird, almost like Indian Pipes. They are all in a bright window. It is as though they are reverting to something. Can or should anything be done? Wish I'd paid more attention in biology class.
