Last fall I brought in a beautiful dark fusia colored peli that stayed in a west window. This spring it began growing but I didn't trim it like I should have. So now I have a single stem that comes out of the pot which is 5 inches long and then splits into 2 stems. It has some beautiful growth on the stems that split so I hate to cut it all the way back.(I will if I have to) My question is "can I replant it in a deep pot so that the dirt will come up to just where the plant splits?"
