Hello. I just received two beautiful Brookside geraniums and need advice as to how I should treat them.

I searched this site and found some info but would like to know: Are they heavy feeders? Do they require much water? Sun/Part shade?

Also, my neighbor told me to shear them back. Does this mean I should cut them to the ground after the blooms have gone or just trim them back half way?

Do I need to cover them over winter with mulch? It's a pretty blue flower but the stems are about 18"-20" and pretty wild looking.

I'd really appreciate any advice and tips.
