wimpy johnson's blue - help

So, they are supposed to like full sun, but whenever the weather gets hot my johnson's blue starts wilting - and it has just been watered!

Should I move it to part shade? I believe this is the 2nd or 3rd summer I've had it so it's quite tall and even started a new little one near it.

Did I water it too much? It's in the 90's today and tomorrow and Monday - very hot this early in the season.

Thanks for any advice.
