I bought one last June and discovered this spring that it came up in 3 distinct small clumps, rather than one. I have it in my brightest sun near the house, on the east side. I divided off 2 of the new sections and have planted one in a moderately shaded bed which gets some morning and late afternoon sun. The third is potted but will go into a new bed I am working on which may be shadier. I had my son cut out some of the scrub trees which were on the south side of this area, but the east side is still somewhat wooded. When I get a chance I will take pictures of how the variegation is in each spot. Right now it is mostly a medium green with a few white patches and edging.
