That is very cute! This is definitely my next gessie to try. I was looking at some on the AGGS seed fund list and thinking about it, but now that I see the pic, I've got to grow it. How long from sowing to bloom?

I don't remember but it's one of the faster ones. The leaves are so cute, I can't get over it. I'm not one to gush over things like this but I can't help it this time. awwww......

Larry, the answer is simple: It doesn't! What you see is a mature flowering phinaea. They are tiny. They are also much loved and wonderful little plants. They even have rhizomes, so, will die down to the soil and come back. I am growing only one species, the giant of the genus, P. ecuadoreana. It gets all of six inches tall, with soft little growths and very airy short lived white flowers. It looks so gentle. The flowers fall off if taken to a show, but, if one is lucky a new crop will be open the next day for judging. I will get that camera soon! and I will get a picture of it when that happens, I promise (yeah sure),
