I never collected them- just let them spread the seeds and they do hatch easily.

You probably can watch you seedpods and collect them when they start turning brown - and you can dry them up yourself.

Or you can construct some mini pockets out of tissue paper and put them on your stubborn seedpods to catch seeds. You probably will need toothpicks to support them.
