Streptocarpus are easy to grow. They requiire same conditions as AVs but they like it a little cooler and you should let them dry a bit between waterings. Check out streptocarpus-info.com or the violet barn's website because they have alot of great info and pictures there! Have fun! They are easy to propagate too.

I concur with Andrea. Steptocapuses are quite easy to grow if you are used to growing African violets. As she said, they like it a little cooler. They really suffer if you have an environment where temps are over 85 degrees. They are also susseptiple (sp?) to crown rot, so keep water out of the crowns and don't bury the plant too deep.
