New to Lipstick plant

Hi there, I recently got a very nice little lipstick plant (Aeschynanthus radicans). The leaves of the plant were nice and green with lighter green towards the petiole, however recently where the leaf should be light green the new growth is brownish?! Would this be a sign of too much light? Can someone please help I don't want to loose this beautiful plant.

PS The rest of the plant is still very healthy the brown is only affecting the newer growth.
