I have it and gets to be a large bush. If it gets lanky, cut it back and it will get bushy again.

Mine prefers shade and a little extra water.

Ariel, that is the condition that I have read that this plant prefers. I planted mine next to the pond with some
drake elm tree branches hanging over it. So, it gets
partial shade and moisture from the pond. my intentions are to get a reflection of this lovely plant from off the pond. This plant is a tender and may die in winter so I already am rooting some
cuttings in the greenhouse for next year. Just in case.
Do the flowers have any fragrance?

Mine is in morning sun and only gets the water from the sprinkler 2x a week. I think this is another plant Nova got from me. ;o)

Me too, some of my favorite plants are pass-a-longs. :o) Every time I see plants I got from Nova I think of her.

Hi Felix! I am glad the Rain Bells are doing good for you. I finally got mine in the ground last weekend in almost the same conditions you describe. You will find it roots very easily so if it doesn't make it through our winters you can have lots hanging out in your new greenhouse waiting for spring!

How are your roses doing? Mine have really taken off in the last few weeks with buds everywhere!

I have the Chinese Rain Bell zone 8b Florida it dies back every year but comes back at this time of year . before i moved it was located under tall trees. im trying to find a good location for it now. not much shade in my new yard
