If I only could remember where I've seen a picture of a variegated Chirita sp. "Vietnam" (USBRG 98-083)...

I don't know how frequent it occurs in this species but it doesn't seem to be unheard of.

I've also seen crested ones.

Seems like this plant has a tendency to do those "erratic" things.

Thanks for your reply. I will have to keep both a regular version and the variegated one then. It will be interesting to see what this plant looks like when it matures.

I grow this one and I've never seen a variegated one. I think it's exciting! Are all your babies from one leaf? Are you sure about the ID of the leaf? Is the mom leaf soft and velvety?
If you can add a pic I'd love to see it!

I took a few photos of the small plants that all originated from a single leaf as well as the variegated plant that I potted up recently. The variegation is less noticible now because I moved the little plant to a brighter spot inside a propitiation dome after I potted it up.
