wow. i don't know all that much about these gigantic veggies/fruits, but are they actually edible? i know the larger my zucchini get, the less tasty they are.

They are better when they are a little smaller and less mature. Mostly they aren't as good as the average melon. That said, I have eaten some Carolina Cross watermelons that are among the best watermelons I have ever tasted.

I heard he used a bicycle pump on that melon. that he installed a valve on the watermelon so he could pump up that big balloon.

I would love to try to fit that into my refrigerator in one piece. I like it cooled down.

I wonder if I could eat that entire melon in one sitting.

I am up here in New England and dream of getting a 5 pound watermelon to ripen before the big freeze.
