if you are a member of The Gesneriad society - you can order seeds of the the species from the seed fund.

More spectacular hybrids - they shouod be propagated through rhizomes, Kartuz.com carries Achimenes, Judy Becker lauray.com carries tons of them. I do not know if they do phytocertificates for sending it abroad, you need to talk to them. Right now it is a wrong time of the year - they all are potted and blooming. They usually are sold in spring - when it is time to pot them.

Thanks Irina. I'm thinking some one here must grow them but I have not figured out how to make contact. When we get an import license we will be contacting growers in the US and other countries.
