seeds germinate the best in spring - surprise-surprise!

Seeds are better stored in a fridge, not at the room temperature - where they lose their viability in a year.

I presume that you are sowing them inside in air conditioned environment - and they still feel that it is wrong time of the year. Because if you are trying to grow them at 100F instead of 75F - it is probably not the best conditions for them.
