Humor me here. I didn't plant this bed and photograph it with the intention of showing somebody where to plant gingers or how to design a bed. It's whimsey: many of the plants here have undersea names (shell ginger, shrimp plant, gold (something) hosta).

However, it is how I planted my gingers and perhaps you can see how various plants looked together at the time the photos were made.
