I would suggest you join the Toronto Gesneriad Society. It is one of the largest chapters in AGGS, if not the biggest; and you cannot find a nicer bunch of people. The members are a very diverse group--all ages, all kinds of backgrounds, and all really happy to share their knowledge and plants. Why Toronto, Anna Lisa?

Like Jon says, check out the Toronto Gesneriad Society. They have a show in the spring with a plant sale. People come from all over for it and I've arranged trades at the show.
