Aeschananthus humilus (Jon)
Jon, I am send this question to you, I posted it to Gphiles and the answers were vague at best. I am hoping you can assist here.
I am trying to self Aeschananthus humilus and A.humilus ÂTopazÂ. This is totally different than the Streps or SinningiaÂs I have tried.
Any and all help will be appreciated. It seems that the pollen is not white/yellow? It also seems that the anthers are way out there long before the stigma. I hope that I am stating that correctly. I am seeing the pollen, I think, am I catching it too late? It seems to be kind of a gray color, and I am not so sure it is pollen.
I know I am long winded on this but trying to give you as much info as possible. I would love to get seed of this to the seed fund and am having a h*** of a time pollinating it.
I am a visual so as much info as you can give will be greatly appreciated.
HELP!!!!
Maggie
