Yes, they are easily propagated from leaves and leaf wedges. I would say that for me they take a bit more time.

Again for me - they grow quite happily in 62-70F range and the variegation is pretty much defined by the variety. The only problem with Chirita sinensis in its many variable forms that it can get quite large and to grow a nice symmetrical plant you need to give it enough space and light from the top. They turn to light immediately. I have one my husband manages to drop and break 1-2 leaves every time just before the show because this baby is foot and half in diameter.

PS They are easier to grow than AVs, I usually put some perlite on a bottom for more air and I read that some people add just a bit of a dolomite lime to their regular AV soil.
