Just when I finally figure out that the reason my plantings don't do well is because they don't get enough water, our water district stiffens its irrigation regulations. The lawn can fend for itself in between authorized watering days, but many of my landscape and edible plants cannot, especially during dry times of the year. My only hope is to take advantage of this exception to the restrictions:

"Irrigation using a micro-spray, micro-jet, drip or bubbler irrigation system is allowed anytime." But I don't know where to begin. What are micro-spray, micro-jet and bubbler systems? Any advice?
