I don't think mine have ever gotten much over 5 feet in height and 4 feet is more likely. My last stalk of the season is just coming into bloom right now and it is 3 1/2 feet tall.

Thanks, Steve. I appreciate the info. Does yours die down in winter? I'd have thought it evergreen that far south.

We get freezing temps several times during the winter; mostly in January and Feb. and it dies back. It usually shows back up in late March or April and starts blooming in May or June depending on whether or not we had any late March cold snaps.
