I'd say that depends on your goals for the plants at this moment in time. If you want you plants to try to come back from the freeze, like, immediately,a move to the greenhouse might or might not accomplish that. My question is, why bring them in at all? Why not just plant them out next season? Almost everything will come back in Spring in 8B (hedychiums, costus, alpinia) and the others (zingiber, curcuma, globba, kaemferia) are deciduous here anyway and trying to get into dormancy now.

The only reason to have brought anything in before the freeze was stuff like costus barbatus, costus amazonicus etc and shell gingers that need 2 year canes to bloom. If you forgot themalready, well, its already too late...they'll come back in Spring but most likely no blooms....
