In photobucket, under each pic, you'll find three different sets of image tags, for posting the pics. Select and copy the middle one, and paste it into your post.

Only two years old?! It's huge. Definitely Miscanthus at about 3-4 weeks in flower. If the sunlight in the photo is not playing tricks, it appears to be M.s.'Strictus,' possibly 'Zebrinus,' but its upright form indicates the former. Handsome in combination with the Pennisetum, Mums and Helenium (or is it Gaillardia?).

After posting above, I saw your second post about this grass in which you give more info. I guess the sunlight was playing tricks; if there is no variegation of any kind, then Donn's suggestions (other post) of 'Nippon' or 'Kleine Fontäne) seem right.

Brumeta: It's Gaillardia which I love, but they tend to pop up everywhere. I agree with you about the windmill, but significant other said to put it there to accurately detect direction of wind. Doesn't matter anymore, as two windstorms tore it up. Will not buy my next windmill at one of the tool sales that come to small towns. Thanks for help.
