I just moved into a small home in a Philadelphia, PA neighborhood. The house has a nice back yard with a patio and a space about 20 by 15 that is just dirt. Because I'm surrounded by other home the yard gets lots of light but no direct sun. I'd like to plant an ornamental grass along one long side of the yard for privacy and beauty. There's already a cyclone fence that's about 7 feet tall so I figure I can get almost that high a grass, but it has to be non-invasive, or "clumping" and make it on little sun. I'm going to have the soil tested shortly, if that's an issue. I haven't yet figured out the rest of the space but I though this might be a nice beginning. Thanks for your help.
