I bought a jewelry gourd last year with plans to open it up for the seeds this year. All that was inside were very immature looking seeds. They were white and really thin. I decided to give it a shot anyway and, to my amazement, they sprouted! I was under the impression that gourds seeds were only mature if they were brown. Was I under the wrong impression?
