could be the seeds, how old are they? were they purchased, or given to you? did you save them from a previous crop? if so, how and where were they kept?

describe your baggie method. did you do anything to the seed to prepare it for sprouting?

could be that they just need a few more days, maybe a warmer sprouting spot.

They are new seeds from "Renee's Garden" purchased just a few weeks ago. They have swelled and I have made small incisions in the hard shell. I will place them in a warmer spot, heck i'll get out the floor heater for them if thats what it will take!

I have a few older and saved seeds that I need to test...guess that's what I'll be doing sometime today.
Most folks put there baggie sprouts on top of the fridge.
The floor heater might be a bit much, but who knows?
