This one is more difficult. It could be Miscanthus, but the individual branches of the Miscanthus bloom tend to curl as they dry.

It could also be Saccharum ravennae, but you'd know, because the blooms would be at the top of extremely tall (12 feet +) and rigid canes.

Can you get a closeup of seeds only?

I'll do my best to take a clear macro shot but camera isn't that great. The height when of the grass where I took this is only 3 ft and that's like last week only.

I also grab another plume. I contacted our homebuilder today and asked if I can pull 3 plumes from their ornamental grass in front. Luckily, she allowed me. I'll post a pic later.

I'd say that's a Miscanthus. It's hard to tell which one, but it appears to be a narrow-bladed one.

Am I correct that there are no more seeds based from my picture?

Not necessarily. Miscanthus seeds, for the most part, are tiny. Much much smaller than Pennisetum seeds. The only way to find out if any are still in the carriers is to look.

Keep in mind, many varieties of Miscanthus don't produce viable seed in any climate. Even fewer will in your climate.

I do see color black or maroon. I found two of them only. I'll take a picture tomorrow since it's dark in my room.
