Squash don't like to have their roots disturbed. It can cause stunted growth of the plant. That's why most of us direct sow them. I would recommend planting your seedlings directly in the ground now, if weather allows. If not, then I would start over.

Plant your seeds directly into the pots. I use 3.3 inch square pots 4 inches deep. I then transplant the plants when they have at least two true leaves on them into my garden. If I direct seed Roly Polys, slugs, and earwigs will usually eat the newly sprouted tender seedlings, but will leave a bigger plant alone.
