Around 3 years ago, I planted a one gallon pot of Miscanthus Sioux from The Ornamental Grass Company. It was listed as the following.

MISCANTHUS SINENSIS 'Sioux' - Indian Grass

4 Feet Tall

This is a low, wild-looking variety. It's widely

spreading foliage is red-brown and changes into brighter

shades in the fall. It is not quick to propagate.

The folliage of this Miscanthus gets 10" to 12" high. The distinctive plumes are around 14" in height. This is no where near the 4 feet in height that was indicative of this variety. The clump is according to description, slow to propagate. The clump diameter is around 6" to 8" across.

Has anyone else grown or seen Miscanthus Sioux? If you have descriptions or pictures, that would be great. Otherwise, I may be introducing one of the world's smallest Miscanthus varieties, not a dwarf variety but rather a micro or nano variety. (ha ha)
