Snake gourd germination

Whats taking so long? I planted them along with my luffas in the window. The luffas are long up and now outside in the ground and I am still waiting on the snake gourds...its been 3 weeks since I planted them....I've never grown them before, is it common for them to take a long time or should I try more seeds? I feel like I am running short on time since I have a short growing season...
