My back yard is consumed with vinca major! When I first moved in, the back yard was 90% English ivy... but each spring the vinca came in and eventually over powered the ivy. I'm all in favor of a strong willed groundcover, but need an evergreen. As it is too large an area to remove the vinca and would most likely lead to erosion issues, I'm looking for a plant that would eventually choke out the vinca. Would asiatic jasmine do so?
