Stunted yellow squash and Zucchini? And Ants!

My Yellow squash have put on and they grow to about 4 or 6 inches and then stop.

this has never happened.Also we have ants that are all over the squash and Zucchini.What

will get rid of them.Will ants stop bees I have not seen many bees in our garden this year.

Don't know if ants are a problem.
Sounds like the fruit are not being pollinated.
The morning a female opens rub the center of a male blossom in it.
