Hi,

I am looking to plant a groundcover beneath my 14' Dawn Redwood. I was wondering how phlox stolonifera looks in partial shade. I am sure that as the tree grows, the shade will become more dense, and don't wish to plant some usual groundcovers, as I have them elsewhere in my yard, and do not like monotony. How do you think phlox would do in this situation? I need something that stays quite low to the ground.
