Full Sun Ground Cover

Hoping someone can help me....need a ground cover or moss-type plant to put between flagstone. Am taking up grass in backyard for lower maintenance but need something besides rock, etc. to make it more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Any ideas? So Cal Temecula/Murrieta area

I have Thyme, grows between the flagstone..but the grass keeps growing in it and I am always pulling out the grass..hope you do a better job getting rid of the grass. I love the thyme, at the moment I am trying to find out about now to transplant more of it as some of it has died. Good luck with yours..it is very beautiful.martha/zucchini

Zucchini, did you ever figure out how to grow the thyme but not have the grass appear? I think I will have the same problem as that is what I have currently removed.....didn't think about that!
