help with houtanias
Last week I bought some houtanias (not sure of the spelling). The leaves were the coolest variegated leaves I've ever seen. So I planted them (3) and then we had frost three nights in a row. Now the leaves are dead and all three plants look awful. I'm wondering if they'll come back to life. I went back to the garden center and they had none left to replace the originals. I asked the sales guy and he said they should perk up because perennials are just like weeds. Anyone have any ideas?
