I just planted some Pink Muhly in my garden for the first time. They are supposed to reach 2-3' tall, not including flowers. The flowers look every bit as feathery as shown in catalogue photos. The highway department plants muhly at some of the exit ramps/bridges in my city, and they are spectacular when in bloom -- particularly when planted in mass. I planted a group of 3 in my garden to maximize the effect. The flowers might be rather subtle with just one plant.

I sure hope they're as nice as the pics I've seen. I've got 32 clumps of them, started from seed, that will be getting planted and potted up in the next month.

Just like Donn, I have masses of Muhlenbergia capillaris and "Regal Mist" around the property. Though, those are not the only muhlenbergia I gorw and love. Dumosa is my second favorite here, but that does not pertian to the original question.....There have been posts about Muhlenbergia on here every month. You should check the archives, it really pays to do that before posting....Most of us that grow Muhlenbergia capillaris have posted on those as well...
