It depends on what you want. M.s. 'New Hybrids' is a mixture of different varieties. They have different characteristics, including foliage height, appearance, and bloom time.

I've grown clumps of them for a few years now, and will just start growing individual seeds this year, in order to isolate the different varieties.

If you want instant gratification, plant out several seedlings together in clumps.

If you want individual plants of each variety, plant them out separately.

Clumps will be larger in girth, but the height will take 2-3 years to approach mature size, in either case.

Be prepared for some losses, because the grass sin't necessarily hardy in your zone. This might be a good reason to grow on the individuals, so you can isolate those which are hardy. Then you can propagate them by division, starting in the second year.

PS..they are a warm season grass, and do not benefit from winter sowing. The seeds will frequently rot before germinating. If you have seed left over, sowing them now will yield faster and more high percentage germination.

This was taken last August. It's the blooming top of a 2 year old seed grown clump, about 6' tall to the blooms.

I threw them in some leftover space when I was WS'ing...I don't even have a good place to put them yet, but don't want to waste them! Next year I'll just put them out when the ground warms up. Everything I sowed germinated, but why bother with a warm season grass, huh?
My sister in Monument, CO (colder than here) is growing this grass, and it comes back. Perhaps because we have so many sunny days, things don't stay frozen long?

I will grow the grass on as individuals. I appreciate your advice.
