I am from Minnesota I have only sold pumpkins for 2 years, this will be my 3rd year and I know most people in my area will just put a single price on them. $3.00 - $4.00 is a average price you see on them no matter the size but personally I don't. What I do which does involve more work but I feel is more fair for both the customer and I is I actually weigh out each pumpkin and sell them by weight. The prices I did last year was under 5 lbs - $1.00, 5-10 lbs - $2.00, 10-20 lbs - $3.00, 20-30 lbs - $4.00 and over 30 lbs - $5.00.
