Did not cut back Ebony Knight Mondo Grass

20 years ago

Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Nigrescens', that is. I never got around to it. Now there's new growth coming up - has been for a while.

My question: how much danger did I put this plant into by not cutting it back? Is it likely that all 9 of my plants will live until next spring, when I WILL cut it back in time, I swear!?
