Planting Emergency!

I just receive a package of Liriope and Ajuga plants. They were sent to me here in Washington, DC from Louisiana. Can I plant them out now, November 16? If so, can anyone recommend how I might protect them? Or should I hold them over until spring? I don't have a coldframe, but could rig something up.

I'd rather plant them out though. Help!
