Ornamental Grass

Overwintering ornamental grasses inside

Hi all, I am in zone 3 and have many grasses that I would like to overwinter in my basement or house during the winter. Has anyone done this successfully? Any suggestions. I have pampas grass, miscanthus huron sunrise, and many others. Most of them are zone 5.

The only one I have ever overwinterd is purple fountain grass which is an annual anyway. I kept it in a sunny window. It is beautiful outside right now. I don't see why you couldn't do this with other grasses. I misted mine a lot as it tended to get dry inside over the winter.
