When the blossom fell off the pumpkin the end was a little slimy and stayed that way for a few days. At first I wondered if it was blossom end rot but It is not really slimy anymore and has firmed up however it has odd stuff oozing from it. It is not a slimy gel as it looks in the first pic but rather a firm rubbery type feel. It also has white specs inside.

Does anyone know what this is?
