For me, 'Malepartus' usually begins blooming at the end of July. This year it hasn't even started yet. I think it is because we had such a long cold spring season. 'Gracillimus' usually starts the first week of October.

My Misc."Adagio" are just starting to bloom, they are about two weeks late, as they usually start blooming mid-July...no sign of bloom on the Gracillimus, but they don't bloom for me until October, and the last two years were cut off by frost right as they started to bloom...I wish they bloomed earlier...however I have seen Malepartus in almost full bloom in the parks around here...been thinking I might get a few...they are nice planted out in groups of three or so, or as a loose 'hedge'...

Though, I'm in zone 3, my 'Malepartus' is now beginning to show a few blooms.
