How big will my gourds grow?

I planted Corsican gourd seeds and the vines are growing like crazy. The flowers are gone and some gourds are about the size of a small apple. Will they get big enough in this short amount of time? How long do they grow for? I am in Maine and we get cold weather here after Sept.

Those are difficult questions to answer......when did you plant the seed?....what information did you get from the seed packet?.....
Anyhow, how are they doing right now? Keep coming back to the forum and let us know how things are going. Sometimes you just learn by doing.]

i planted them at the beginning of june in the house and then transplanted them out because we had a whole month of rain here. They have trippled in size since I wrote this so I guess they grow pretty fast. Some are the size of grapefruits now. The package says 140 days so that takes us to October.
